Katie joined Busy Bees in September 2019 having spent 16 years working in a primary school as a teaching assistant and ELSA.
Training courses have included Thomas Training (ASD), Counselling and Therapeutic Skills and Mental Health in the Early Years. She has been trained by and worked alongside a speech and language therapist to support children with social communication, particularly developing non-verbal skills.
She has completed the Level One Forest School training and loves being outside in the woods watching the children grow in strength and confidence and their imaginations blossom.
Outside of Busy Bees she enjoys walking Rodney the spaniel, gardening, and spending time with her 3 grown up children.
